Smeg PSA906-4 Questions and Answers

#1 Where is the gas entry point? Rear right or rear left side etc?

The gas entry point on this model is located on the rear right hand side of the cooktop.

#2 I have just purchased a house with a smeg oven. Guessing 10 years old. Does the top heating element remove for cleaning. It sits inside a wire frame?

You can not remove the top element for cleaning.
The best way to clean it, is to turn the top element on for 10 minutes and it will burn off most of the oils.

#3 Is there anything to remove discolouration on the black removable top of the burners?

I have never had an issue with discolouration of the black removable tops before. If there are any food stains on there, I place them in the sink and soak them. I don't tend to use scourers... just the Chux superwipes and all the burnt off residues easily come off.
