Setting parental control levels
You can set parental controls for the U.S. and
Canada.
U.S. TV ratings
Some of the age-based TV ratings also have
content-based ratings.
To set U.S. TV parental control levels:
1 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens.
2 Press or to highlight Settings, then press
or ENTER. The Settings menu opens.
3 Press or to highlight Parental Controls,
then or . The Enter Password screen opens.
4 Press the number buttons to enter the four-digit
password. The default password is 0000. You
should change the password to a number you
can remember. The Parental Controls menu
opens.
5 Press or to highlight Program Lock, then
press ENTER. The Program Block menu opens.
6 Press or to highlight Rating Enable, then
press or ENTER to select On or Off.
To select the USA Parental Locks option, the
Rating Enable option must be set to On.

TV-Y All children
TV-Y7 Children over seven years of age
TV-G General audiences
TV-PG Parental guidance suggested
TV-14 Parents strongly cautioned
TV-MA Mature audiences only
U.S. TV content ratings
All All ratings are blocked
