Ninja NN310 Questions and Answers

#1 Will this spiralize a spaghetti squash?

No. Spaghetti squash doesn't need to be soiralized. It has to be cooked, and then the strands are scooped out of the shell.

#2 Can this be used to grate cheese?

Perhaps if the cheese is very hard. I usually just use a grater if in doubt.

#3 Do I have to hold the power button continiously to work.. or do i press once and it go automatically until i press it again to stop?

You just press the button once to turn on and then once to turn.

#4 Can this make cauliflower rice?

Yes it can but the container is small so you may have to do several batches depending on the size of dish you are making

#5 Can you slice potatoes for scalloped potatoes? Can you shred cheese?

You get two of the blades for the spiralizer. I suspect you could do hard cheese but may have to purchase the optional blades to do scalloped potatoes. Makes great Curley fries.

#6 I cannot seem to find the other discs that do not come with the machine. How can I purchase them?

They can be ordered from Ninja directly, although you may not be able to find them on their website, I couldn’t. I called and ordered. But there is only one other disc, a slicer.

#7 Can this work well for buttercream frosting?

I’ve never made it with this machine but I could see it working.

#8 Does the processor chop cooked meat?

Yes it does (grounded) use pulse if you want the meat in bigger pieces

#9 Will it actually chop (i.e. onion) or does everything end up as a puree?

Yes! Using the food processor bowl and blade, pulse several times to get the size you want.
