Descaling
The following message will appear on the
display from time to time to indicate that you
should carry out the descaling procedure
for the evaporation tray on the bottom of
the oven.
1. Open the door completely.
2. Pour about 250 ml of white vinegar into
the evaporation tray so as to cover part
of the bottom of the oven cavity as well.
3. Press the function knob to start the
descaling function.
4. At the end of the descaling procedure,
remove the vinegar from the bottom of
the oven using the sponge provided.
5. Use a dishwashing sponge to remove the
largest possible amount of the softened
lime scale.
6. When cleaning is complete, close the
door.
Failure to descale the appliance
can cause lime scale build up and
in the long run prevent the
appliance from working correctly.
In order to keep the boiler in the
best operating conditions it is
recommended to carry out
descaling every time the prompt to
do so appears on the display.
If you do not wish to carry out the
descaling procedure, press the
function knob for a few seconds.
PLEASE NOTE: The descaling
procedure can be cancelled 3
consecutive times. The appliance
will not allow other functions to be
used until a new descaling
procedure has been carried out.
