Note:1. Install two AAA type batteries into the remote control.

1. Place charging dock, plug in adapter, signal light on charging dock will turn solid

2. Turn on the power switch around power socket, then display panel will flash.
(If no command is received, the robot will switch to sleep mode after 15 seconds).
3. Charge the robot in either way as shown below:
A. Plug into an outlet.
B. Press
to make robot return to charging dock for charging itself.

For better extending battery life:
A. Before first use, charge the robot overnight. When charging is finished, display panel will turn off.
B. In normal use, always store the robot on charging dock with base plugged in.
C. If the robot is not used for long time, turn the power switch off, fully charge the robot and store it in a cool, dry place.
4. Auto charging
The robot will automatically return to charging dock when battery is low.
Sleeping mode: robot is not working, light at
button is off and power switch is on.
Selected mode: robot is not working.green light at
button flashes.
Cleaning mode: robot is working, green light at
button turns solid.
1. Starting up
A. Make sure the power switch is turned on.
B. Press
button on robot or remote control to start cleaning.
Note:
If robot is in sleep mode, press
button to reactivate it.
Press
button again to start the operation.
2. Pause
Press
button on robot or remote control to change robot from Clean mode to selected mode.
Note: When robot is paused, press
button to resume the operation.
3. Sleeping
To switch the robot from selected mode to sleep mode:
A. Press and hold
button on robot for 3 seconds.
B. Robot automatically enters sleep mode if no command is received after15 seconds.
You can preset a cleaning routine for your robot.
Note:
Reset the clock and reschedule a cleaning cycle after replacing battery. Robot will only start cleaning automatically after the clock and schedule are set.

1. Auto cleaning
In Auto Cleaning mode, robot automatically cleans the areas it can reach.

2. Spot cleaning
Robot takes a spiral path to clean a specific area with concentrated dust and debris.

3. Edge cleaning
In selected mode, press
button and robot moves forward until it detects a wall. It cleans along the edges of walls for 10 minute.

4. MAX Mode
High suction power for areas with concentrated dust. Press
button on remote control to increase suction level.
Press
again to return to normal level.

Electrowall creates an invisible barrier that S5 Pro will not cross. This invisible barrier can be used to confine S5 Pro to a particular room or area.


TIPS:
Make sure which side is working area according to the stickers on the Electrowall.
Place the robot in the "working area" to do cleaning.
Wet Mopping

button to start the wet cleaning. There is no vacuum suction function during the wet cleaning. (Figure 4)Clean the side brushes when it gets dirty and replace if it's are damaged.
Note: Before replacing side brushes, checkand match "L" "R" marks on both and bottom of robot.
Clean and empty dustbin after each use, steps are as shown in below figures.

Slightly clean the sensor window and anto charging pins with a soft dry cloth.
Note: Charging pins on charging dock need to clean if dirty.

When there is foreign matter in nose wheel, it will affect the cleaning performance, please clean it follow the way below:

When the robot meets with some routine troubles, it will remind you by beep.
