Connecting the appliance
Have a technician install and connect the appliance
according to the installation instructions.
Do not remove the transportation protection devices
from the shelves and storage compartments until the
appliance has been installed.
Always connect the water before the power.
Apart from statutory national regulations, you should
stick to the connection terms relating to the local
electricity company.
After installing the appliance, wait at least 1 hour until
the appliance starts up. During transportation the oil in
the compressor may have flowed int o the refrigeration
system.
Before switching on the appliance for the first time,
clean the interior of the appliance
(~ chapter Cleaning the appliance”).
Water connection
Connect the appliance to a domestic water supply. The
appliance may only be connected to a cold-water line.
Minimum pressure: 2 bar
Maximum pressure: 8 bar
Contact a plumbing company if you are unsure how to
check the existing water p ressure.
Installing the water filter
When appliance is delivered, the water filter package is
located in a door rack of the refrigerator compartment.
1. Take the water filter out of the packaging. The
instructions in the packaging include information for
the water filter. Please keep them for future use.
2. Open the refrigerator door to its maximum angle
and remove the water filter cap by pulling it out
slowly.
3. Remove the protector of the water filter base.
4. Screw in the water filter in clockwise direction and
make sure it is firmly fitted to the water filter base.
: Warning
If not installed correctly, this can result in the appliance
is not working properly, or result in water leakages.
5. Reattach the filter cover by gently sliding it on.
