I would have a question about the volume. there is a lot more bass on the left handset, can you adjust the balance?

It may be that the left earbud fits better with the ear, the rubber of the ear opening. This can also give you the feeling that the volume is or the bass is on. As a rule, both earphones are the same loud

Can you make phone calls with it?

Honestly, I only did one phone call as a test. That was good. I cannot say whether this works in regular everyday use.

Do the headphones have touch or push buttons for control? and how do they react (if touch) to water?

Touch, can also be used in the rain but not underwater
