Using FlashAir
Things you can do with FlashAir
Using the FlashAir (with Wireless LAN function) card (commercially
available), you can connect the camera to a Wi-Fi enabled smartphone or
PC and view or import images from the FlashAir card.
• When using a FlashAir card, read the FlashAir card instruction manual
carefully, and comply with the instructions.
Setting the camera
1 Insert a FlashAir card into the camera, and turns on the power.
2 Select [FlashAir] in the playback menu and press the A button.
3 Select setting and press the A button.
Submenu 2 Application
Start/Stop Connect to or disconnect from Wi-Fi.
Starting option [Manual Start] or [Auto Start] can be selected.
• The camera will not go into sleep mode while connected to Wi-Fi.
• Smartphone application is available.

Connecting manually
1 Select [Manual Start] in [Starting option] and press A.
2 Select [
Start
] and press A.
3 Select the camera’s FlashAir as the access point using the device to be
connected.
• Refer to the Instruction Manual of the device for the method of connecting
to the access point.
• When prompted to provide a password, enter the password set in the
card.
4 Open an internet browser on the device to be connected, and enter
http://FlashAir/ in the address bar.
• The camera does not automatically turn off while the connection is
established.
5 Select [
Stop
] and press the A button to end the connection.
• Turning off the power also ends the connection.
