There is a flat tray for steaming and two little trays for thawing. There is also a egg tray to make hard boiled eggs. I think you could make also soft boiled eggs, just set it on a lower setting

You should have received two heating trays. My trays were white and green. I returned my steamer because it failed in less than 90 days.
