SERVICE CALL CHECK
Check the following before calling for service:
1. Place one cup of water in a glass measuring cup in the microwave oven and close the door securely.
Operate the microwave oven for one minute at HIGH 100%.
A. Does the microwave oven light come on? YES _____ NO _____
B. Does the cooling fan work? YES _____ NO _____
(Put your hand over the rear ventilating openings.)
C. Does the turntable rotate? YES _____ NO _____
(It is normal for the turntable to turn in either direction.)
D. Is the water in the microwave oven warm? YES _____ NO _____
2. Remove water from the oven and operate the oven for 5 minutes at AUTO 450˚F.
Operate the microwave oven for one minute at HIGH 100%.
A. Do CONV and COOK indicators light? YES _____ NO _____
B. After the oven shuts off, is inside of the YES _____ NO _____
microwave oven hot?
If ‘NO’ is the answer to any of the above questions, please check electrical outlet, fuse and/or circuit
breaker. If they are functioning properly, contact Customer Care. For contact details, see your Service &
Warranty booklet or visit our local website listed on the back cover.
A microwave oven should never be serviced by a ‘do-it-yourself’ repair person.
