• Check that the power supply voltage corresponds to that shown on the
appliance (alternating current).
• Given the diverse standards in effect, if the appliance is used in a country
other than that in which it is purchased, have it checked by an approved
service centre.
CONNECTING TO THE POWER SUPPLY
• Do not use the appliance if:
– the appliance or the cord is damaged.
– the appliance has fallen or shows visible damage or does not work
properly.
– In the event of the above, the appliance must be sent to an approved
service centre. Do not take the appliance apart yourself.
• Do not leave the cord hanging.
• Always plug the appliance into an earthed socket.
• Do not use an extension lead. If you accept liability for doing so, only
use an extension lead which is in good condition, has an earthed plug
and is suited to the power of the appliance.
• Do not unplug the appliance by pulling on the cord.

USING
• Use a flat, stable, heat-resistant work surface away from any water
splashes.
• Do not allow the base of the appliance to come into contact with water.
• Never try to operate the appliance when the pot is empty or without
the pot.
• The cooking function/knob must be allowed to operate freely. Do not
prevent or obstruct the function from automatically changing to the
keep warm function.
• Do not remove the pot while the appliance is working.
• Do not put the appliance directly onto a hot surface, or any other source
of heat or flame, as it will cause a failure or danger.
• The pot and the heating plate should be in direct contact. Ensure that
no food or liquid is inserted between the pot and heating plate.
• Do not place the appliance near a heat source or in a hot oven, as
serious damage could result.
• Do not put any food or water into the appliance until the pot is in place.
• Respect the levels indicated in the recipes.
• Should any part of your appliance catch fire, do not attempt to put it
out with water. To smother the flames use a damp teatowel.
• Any intervention should only be made by a service centre with original
spare parts.
• Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended
and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.

PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT
• Your appliance has been designed to run for many years. However,
when you decide to replace it, remember to think about how you can
contribute to protecting the environment.
• Before discarding your appliance you should remove the battery from
the timer and dispose of it at a local civic waste collection centre
(according to model).

BEFORE FIRST USE
USING YOUR RICE COOKER
• Open the lid by pressing the lid opening button on the handle– fig.1.
• Remove the cooking pot and inner lid – fig.2.
• Clean the pot and inner lid with a sponge and washing up liquid.- fig.3
• Wipe the outside of the appliance and the lid with a damp cloth.
• Dry off carefully.
• Put all the elements back in their original position. Install the detachable
cord into the socket on the cooker base. – fig. 4.
Measuring the ingredients - Max capacity of the bowl
• The graduated markings on the inside of the pot are given in cups, these
are used for measuring the amount of water when cooking rice and other
cereals. There are 2 kinds of water level marks, one for rice and one for
porridge.
• The maximum quantity of water + rice should not exceed the 4 cups mark
inside the pot – fig.5.
• The plastic cup provided with your appliance is for measuring rice.
• To cook 1 cup of rice (serves 2 small or 1 large portion), use 1 measuring
cup of rice and then add water to the water level indication inside the pot.
To cook other quantity of rice, please refer to relative water level.
• The water quantity can be adjusted depending on your taste.

COOKING PROGRAM
Rice and Porridge
– Use the “Switch” to choose rice or porridge. - Fig 6 When the program is
chosen and then press “Cooking Button” to start the cooking. The “Cook”
indicator is on during the cooking process.
– When cooking rice, at the end of cooking, the “Cooking Button” will be
lifted automatically, and the rice cooker will enter keep warm status with
the “Warm” indicator on.
– When cooking porridge, you need to lift the cooking button manually at
the end of cooking. Then, it will enter keep warm status with the “Warm”
indicator on.
Keep Warm
– When the rice cooker is powered on, “Cooking Button” is lifted, it will
enter keep warm status automatically with the “Warm” indicator on.
– You have to stop the keep warm status manually by pulling off the
power cord or cutting off electricity supply.

Note:
– It takes around 25 minutes to cook 2 cups of white rice under the normal
condition.
– It takes around 1 hour to cook 1/2 cup of white rice for porridge under
normal condition.
– Please do not keep warm for rice or porridge for more than 6 hours.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• To ensure the rice cooker is unplugged and completely cooled down
before cleaning and maintenance.
• It is strongly advised to clean the appliance after each use.
Pot/ Steam basket
• Scouring powders and metal sponges are not recommended.
• If food has stuck to the bottom, you may put water in the pot to soak
for a while before washing.
• Dry the pot carefully.
Taking care of the pot
For the pot, carefully follow the instructions below:
• To ensure the maintenance of pot quality, it is recommended not to cut
food in it.
• Use the plastic spoon provided or a wooden spoon and not a metal type
so as to avoid damaging the pot surface.
• To avoid any risk of corrosion, do not pour vinegar into the pot.

NOTE
• Do not open the lid during cooking as steam will escape and this will
affect the cooking time and the taste.
• On completion of cooking, when the “KEEP WARM” indicate light is on,
stir the rice and then leave it in the rice cooker for a few minutes longer
in order to get perfect rice with separate grains.
• Do not touch the heating element when the product is plugged in.
• Carefully wipe the outside of the bowl (especially the bottom). Make
sure that there are no foreign residues or liquid underneath the bowl
and on the heating element.
• Never place your hand on the steam vent during cooking, as there is
a danger of burns–Fig8.
• Only use the inner pot provided with the appliance.
• Do not pour water or put ingredients in the appliance without the
bowl inside.
Cleaning the inner lid
• Remove the inner lid by pushing outwards on the edge of the inner lid.
• Clean it with a sponge and washing up liquid. Then wipe dry and put it back
until it’s fixed.
Cleaning and care of the other parts of the appliance
• Clean the outside of the Rice Cooker, the inside of the lid and the cord
with a damp cloth and wipe dry. Do not use abrasive products.
• Do not use water to clean the interior of the appliance body as it could
damage the heat sensor.
• Empty the detachable dew collector - fig 7.

사용 방법

밥솥 사용
처음 사용 전
• 손잡이에 있는 뚜껑 열림 버튼을 눌러 뚜껑을 엽니다(그림 1).
• 내솥과 속뚜껑을 뺍니다(그림 2).
• 스펀지와 주방용 세제를 사용해 내솥과 속뚜껑을 세척합니다(그림 3).
• 젖은 천으로 제품 표면과 뚜껑을 닦아 줍니다.
• 물기를 잘 제거합니다.
• 모든 부품을 제자리에 끼워 넣습니다. 분리형 코드를 밥솥 밑판의
소켓에 연결합니다(그림 4).
재료 계량 - 내솥의 최대 용량
• 내솥 안쪽의 눈금은 컵을 기준으로 합니다. 이 눈금을 사용해 밥을 지을
때 필요한 물의 양을 계량할 수 있습니다. 물 눈금은 2개로, 하나는 밥
계량용, 다른 하나는 죽 계량용입니다.
• 물과 쌀의 양을 합친 분량은 내솥 안쪽에 표시된 4컵을 넘지 않아야
합니다(그림 5).
• 제품과 함께 제공되는 플라스틱 계량컵은 쌀을 계량할 때 사용합니다.
• 백미 1컵 분량을 조리 시(작은 2인분 또는 큰 1인분), 백미 1컵 분량을
계량하고 물은 내솥에 표시된 곳까지 붓습니다. 다른 양의 쌀을
조리하려면 해당하는 물의 양을 참고하시기 바랍니다.
• 물의 양은 입맛에 따라 조절할 수 있습니다.

조리 프로그램
밥과 죽
– "스위치"를 이용하여 밥이나 죽을 선택합니다. 그림 6처럼 프로그램을
선택하고 "취사 버튼"을 눌러 조리를 시작합니다. 조리가 진행되는
동안 “취사" 표시등에 불이 들어와 있습니다.
– 조리가 끝나면 “취사 버튼"이 자동으로 올라가고 보온을 시작합니다.
이때 “보온” 표시등에 불이 들어옵니다.
– 죽을 만들 때는 완료 시 손으로 직접 취사 버튼을 올려야 합니다. 그러면

보온 기능
– 밥솥 전원을 켜고 "취사 버튼"을 올리면 "보온" 표시등이 켜지면서
자동으로 보온 상태로 들어갑니다.
– 보온 기능을 해제하려면 손으로 직접 전선을 빼거나 전원을 꺼야 합니다.
참고:
– 일반적으로 백미 2컵으로 밥을 짓는 데 25분 정도 걸립니다.
– 일반적으로 백미 1/2컵으로 죽을 만드는 데 1시간 정도 걸립니다.
– 밥이나 죽을 6시간 이상 보온하지 마십시오.
세척 및 관리
• 세척 및 관리를 하기 전, 밥솥의 전원에서 분리하고 열기를 완전히
식힙니다.
• 제품을 사용하고 난 후 항상 세척할 것을 강력히 권장합니다.
내솥/찜틀
• 분말 타입 연마제와 금속 스펀지를 사용하지 마십시오.
• 음식이 내솥 바닥에 눌어붙어 있는 경우, 세척 전 내솥에 물을 받아
불립니다.
• 내솥의 물기를 잘 제거합니다.
내솥 관리
아래의 지시 사항에 따라 내솥을 관리하시기 바랍니다.
• 내솥의 상태를 최상으로 유지하기 위해 내솥 안에서 재료를 자르지
마십시오.

참고
• 조리 중에는 뚜껑을 열지 마십시오. 증기가 빠져나가 조리 시간과 맛에
영향을 줄 수 있습니다.
• 밥이 완성되면 “보온” 버튼에 불이 들어옵니다. 쌀을 잘 섞어준 후 밥솥
안에 그대로 두고 몇 분 정도 뜸을 들이면 끈적이지 않는 맛있는 밥이
완성됩니다.
• 제품이 전원에 연결되어 있으면 열이 가해지는 부분을 만지지 마십시오.
• 내솥 표면을 잘 닦습니다(용기 바닥 부분도 깨끗이 닦습니다). 내솥
바닥과 열선 위에 이물질이나 물기가 없는지 확인합니다.
• 조리 중에는 증기 배출구에 절대로 손을 가까이 하지 마십시오. 화상의
위험이 있습니다(그림 8).
• 제품과 함께 제공된 내솥만을 사용하시기 바랍니다.
• 제품 안에 내솥 없이 물이나 재료를 넣지 마십시오.
• 내솥 표면이 긁히지 않도록 제품과 함께 제공되는 플라스틱 주걱이나
나무 주걱을 사용하십시오. 금속성 도구는 사용하지 마십시오.
• 내솥의 부식을 막기 위해 식초를 용기에 붓지 마십시오.
제품 세척
• 속뚜껑 가장자리를 바깥쪽으로 밀면 속뚜껑을 뺄 수 있습니다.
• 젖은 스펀지와 주방용 세제로 세척하십시오. 물기를 닦아내고 다시 잘
넣습니다.
제품의 기타 부속품 세척 및 관리
• 밥솥 표면, 뚜껑 안쪽, 코드를 물기가 있는 천으로 닦은 후 남은 물기를
잘 제거합니다. 연마제는 사용하지 마십시오.
• 제품 몸체의 내부는 물을 사용해 닦지 마십시오. 열센서에 손상이 갈
수 있습니다.
• 물받이는 비워주시고, 종종 세척하여 주십시오. 세척 후 물기를 잘
제거해주십시오.
