Installation test and using for the first time
1. Remove any accessories from the cooking space.
2. In the cooking space, remove the sealing film over the water outlet.
3. Insert the filter over the water outlet in the cooking space.
4. Operate the appliance with the «Steaming» mode at 100 °C for at least 4minutes.
Once this has finished, the appliance reduces the steam automatically. This should be checked. The base is then automatically
flooded with water and must be completely drained off until there are only a few drops left.
If the «Check water supply» message appears:
Check whether the water supply is open and water is available.
If the water supply is open, cancel the message by pressing the adjusting knob.
Check that the reinforced hose is free of kinks.
If water remains in the cooking space and the pumping out process has been repeated more than 3 times at
short intervals, the «Check water outlet» message appears:
Check that the drain hose is free of kinks.
Lay the drain hose so that the contents of the hose cannot flow back into the appliance.

Sealing film
Draining the water system prior to maintenance work or transport
Automatic drainage of the water system takes place approx. 20 minutes after the appliance has finished operating and empties ap-
prox. 90% of the water system.
The main parts of the water system cannot be drained without a power supply.
You must take particular care if descaling was aborted but descaler still remains in the water system.
Draining the fixed water connection
Close the stopcock and disconnect the reinforced hose.
Start the «Hot air» operating mode ; after 10 seconds, press the touch button and wait 1 minute until the appliance has drained.
Disassembly and transport
When removing the appliance, pull the hoses out continuously from behind.
Avoid contamination from waste water in the reinforced hose.
The appliance must never be tilted more than 45°.
