3.9.8 DTV / TV Input Parental Control
If you want to restrict certain channel and program
viewing, you can do this by turning on the Parental
Control. Selected programs, movies and channels
can then be made available only after an
authorized password has been entered and
accepted by the TV.
When the MENU button is pressed, the On Screen
Display (OSD) appears on the PICTURE
adjustment page.
Press the
button to display the SETUP page.
Press the
button to highlight Parental, then
press the
button.
The Password must be entered before the TV will
continue with Parental settings. The default
password set in the factory is 0 0 0 0. If you are
going to use the Parental Control feature you
should change the password.
3.9.9 Rating Enable
Turning this feature on will allow the end user to prevent their children to watch blocked programs when
using the PIP feature, the PIP screen will display a blue or blank screen.
Press
Ⴍ to scroll down to Rating Enable, and select it.
Press either
Ż or Ź button to turn feature ON or Off.
Press the EXIT to exit the OSD screen.
Note: Make sure you write down and store the new password in a secure place.
The Reset All Settings feature (see page 57) does NOT reset the password.
