Snapper 1687884 Questions and Answers

#1 How long does each battery last on average? each individual battery please?

There are 4 amp and 5 amp batteries available. Can't recall if the 4 amp is available via Amazon, but I know the 5 amp is not. I had to purchase it from a Snapper seller. It's not inexpensive, but the charge lasts much longer, which makes it less frustrating to use.
Those 2 amp ones got used up w/in 20 minutes which was aggravating. The batteries do not charge quickly. I would charge the spent one while mowing using the other. When the 2nd one was spent, I'd still have to wait for the 1st one to finish charging.
Snapper needs to offer the mower with optional 4/5 amp batteries. It also needs a quick charger.

#2 Is it possible to overcharge the battery if left on the charger say all week?

Nope. From everything I've read. It is a smart charger. Leave mine on there all the time. Seems to not be actiblvely charging once battery is full (fan runs and makes noise during active charging).
