I had this issue as well. To resolve you'll need to update the firmware for your TX racing wheel. Unplug your TX racing wheel USB cable from your Xbox One and plug it into your PC, then follow the firmware update instructions from the Thrustmaster support page. Once your TX racing wheel firmware is updated, plug the USB cable back into your Xbox One. Your TSS Handbrake should now work.

If your playing on xbox 360 then no. Other then that yes. It may not plug into the base of the G27 but it will plug into the system via USB. Go to insidesimracing.com. There if a rather long but super helpful review for this shiftet.

I'm afraid your assumption is incorrect. The TH8A shifter works with all brands of racing wheels. You simply plug the shifters USB cable in to a free port on your device.
