#1 Is this heater waterproof? I want to use it outdoors.
Our patio heater has a certain waterproof level, but if it is put in the rainy environment for a long time, it may have some problems, which are not conducive to the long-term use of the product. It is recommended to put it in the sheltered place.

#2 Does this heater dry out the air?
Any heater is going to dry the air a little because that's what heat does unless it's steam heat. However, because this heater uses radiant heat instead of forced air, it's less drying than a heater with a blower or fan. It's similar to having sunlight warming you up or a heat lamp, where forced air heaters are more like a hair dryer.

#3 Is it hot to touch? I have young children.
Yes, I would NOT use it around small children. The exterior gets hot and it is possible to stick a small finger through the lattice and touch the heating element. You also need to be careful not to run or fall into it. I would definitely not put it in the "child proof" category. Safe enough for adults and careful older (12-14+) kids but I'd be careful even in that age group
