Scanning programmes
manually (Manual Tuning)
Scans digital TV or radio programmes and adds
the detected programmes to the programme
list.
1. Display [Setup] menu.

to select [DTV], and press ENTER
( ).

to select [Manual Tuning] and
press ENTER ( ) to display the [Manual
Tuning] menu.
4. Use

to select the desired multiplexer
(MUX), and the unit starts scanning
automatically.
5. Use
u
to select the [Add] and press ENTER
( ) to add the programme the unit scans
automatically.
NOTE
If the [DTV Lock] option is set to [Lock], this
function is available when you enter the password
correctly. (see page 29.)
Editing Programme List
(Channel Edit)
You can remove any digital TV or radio
programs stored on this recorder using the
[Channel Edit] menu.
1. Display [Setup] menu.

to select [DTV], and press ENTER

to select [Channel Edit] and
press ENTER ( ).

to select [DTV] and use

select [DTV] or [Radio] programme list.

to select a programme you
want to skip from the list, and press red
coloured (R) button.
If you do not want to skip the programme,
select the programme and press red
coloured (R) button again.

to select a programme you
want to lock from the list, and press blue
coloured (B) button.
If you do not want to lock the programme,
select the programme and press blue
coloured (B) button again.
6. Press RETURN (
O
) to return to the previous
step.
Skip : If the programme is assigned to skip,
you can’t select that programme with PR
button in Remote control.
Block/unblock : If the programme is
assigned to block and
[DTV Lock] in the
[Setup] menu is set to [Lock]
, you should enter
the password to watch the programme.
