Yes, mine is on carpet

#2 Would 2 of the 250 mm pole extension be ok to use for a 10ft ceiling?

You can always adjust other parts of the pole to make it work

Yes this answer is correct "There is an extension inside of the pole u have to put the rod that is used to tighten inside of the extension and turn until it fits the ceiling"

#5 What mm is the pole ? What extension do i buy for a 10ft ceiling ? It doesn’t say in the instructions and I don’t want to get the wrong thing.

You would need the 12 inch extensions since the pole is 9 feet tall
