the auxiliary table when
you sew tubular items like
sleeves.
Caution
Do not turn the pattern selector dial while the machine is
running or while the needle is in the fabric. Doing so can
result in the machine damage.

Stop the machine, rotate the hand wheel toward you
(counterclockwise), and move the take-up
lever and the needle to their highest position.
