Cuisinart SCC-1000W Questions and Answers

#1 is this coffee maker a 4 hr auto shut off?

Yes. You can choose 2 hour or 4 hour. Really like this coffee maker.

#2 Is this coffee maker bpa free?

Unknown. I don't recall this issue being addressed in any of the brochures provided. I don't recommend this maker. Lid broke within the first month. A lot of money for an inferior product.

#3 What is the inside of the reservoir made of?

The reservoir is seamless rigid plastic.

#4 Do the Swarovski crystals have anything to do with making coffee?

No it does not. Had the product description said something like "Swarovski Crystals" instead of "Swarovski Elements", I would have never purchased it. The crystals have nothing to do with the functionality of the coffee maker - only the appearance and in my opinion, it makes it very ugly.
