• Dette apparat er velegnet til udendørs brug. Stil ikke apparatet
i sol og lad det ikke stå ude om vinteren. Maskinen er udeluk-
kende beregnet til brug i en almindelig husholdning. Den er

• Fjern al emballage, klistermærker og løse dele indeni og
udenpå apparatet.
• Placer aldrig apparatet på en skrøbelig overflade (glasbord,
dug, lakeret møbel, m.v.), undgå at anvende apparatet på en
blød overflade, såsom en dækkeserviet.
• For at undgå overophedning af apparatet, bør det ikke
placeres i et hjørne eller direkte op ad en væg.
• Før apparatet tages i brug - tør da pladen af med et stykke
køkkenrulle dyppet i lidt madlavningsolie. Fjern herefter
eventuelt overskydende olie med et tørt stykke køkkenrulle.
• Sikre dig at pladerne er stabile og korrekt monteret på
apparatets base.

• Rul ledningen helt ud.
• Kontroller at de elektriske installationer er i overensstemmel-
se med dem, som er angivet i bunden af apparatet.
• Tilslut altid apparatet et stik med jord.
• Hvis en forlængerledning anvendes :
- skal den have forbindelse med jord;
- sørg for at ingen falder i ledningen.
• Hvis ledningen bliver beskadiget, skal den udskiftes af
fabrikanten eller hans serviceværksted eller af en tilsvarende
uddannet person for at undgå, at der opstår fare.
• El-ledningen skal kontrolleres regelmæssigt for at opdage
tegn på beskadigelse. Hvis ledningen er beskadiget, er det
ikke muligt at bruge apparatet.
• Apparatet skal strømforsynes af et kredsløb med en fejl-
strømsafbryder (HPFI), som slår fra, hvis strømmen overskri-
der 30 mA.
• Apparatet skal tilsluttes ved en stikkontakt med jordforbin-
delse (for apparater af klasse I).
• Ved første brug kan apparatet afgive en smule lugt og røg.
• Dette apparat er ikke beregnet til at fungere ved hjælp af en
ekstern timer eller en særskilt fjernbetjening.
• For at undgå at beskadige produktet, må der ikke tilberedes
flamberede retter.

• De grønne kontrollamper blinker med jævne mellemrum
under brug for at angive, at temperaturen fastholdes.
• Flyt ikke apparatet mens det er i brug.
• For at bevare stegepladens belægning skal man altid bruge
en skraber i plastic eller træ.
• Læg aldrig stanniol eller andre genstande ind mellem pladen
og de fødevarer, der skal steges.
• Tag ikke skuffen til opsamling af fedt ud under stegning. Hvis
fedtbakken bliver fyldt under stegning, skal apparatet køle af,
før den tømmes.
• For at beskytte slip-let-belægningen, tilbered ikke mad der er
pakket ind i aluminiums-folie.
• Efterlad aldrig apparatet uden opsyn, når det er i brug.
• Brug ikke apparatet tomt.

• Stil termostaten på mini, før stikket tages ud.
• Dette apparat må ikke dyppes ned i vand. Sænk aldrig appa-
ratet og ledningen i vand.
• Kontrollér, at apparatet er kølet af og stikket taget ud, før det
stilles på plads.

• This appliance is suitable for outdoor use. Do not leave the
appliance in direct sunlight or outside in winter. This appliance
is intended for domestic household use only. It is not intended
to be used in the following applications, and the guarantee will
not apply for :
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working
environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type
environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.

• Remove all packaging materials, stickers and accessories from
the inside and the outside of the appliance.
• Never place the appliance directly on a fragile surface (glass
table, tablecloth, varnished furniture, etc.) or on a soft surface
such as a tea-towel.
• To prevent the appliance from overheating, do not place it in a
corner or against a wall.
• Before using for the first time, wipe over the plate using kitchen
paper towel dipped in a little cooking oil. Remove any surplus oil
using clean kitchen paper towel.
• Ensure that the plates are stable and fitted correctly onto the
base of the appliance.

• Fully unwind the power cord.
• Make sure that the electric power supply is compatible with the
power rating and voltage indicated on the bottom of the
appliance.
• Always plug the appliance into an earthed socket.
• If an extension cord is used:
- it must have an earth connection;
- take all necessary precautions to prevent anyone tripping over
an extension cord.
• If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified
person in order to avoid a hazard.
• The power supply cord should be regularly examined for signs
of damage, and if the cord is damaged, the appliance must not
be used.
• The appliance must be supplied through a residual current
device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not
exceeding 30 mA.
• The appliance is to be connected to a socket-outlet having an
earthing contact (for class I appliances).
• On first use, there may be a slight odour and a little smoke
during the first few minutes.
• This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an
external timer or separate remote-control system.
• To avoid spoiling your product, do not use flambé recipes in
connection with it at any time.

• The green lights will blink regularly while the appliance is in use
to indicate that the temperature is being maintained.
• Do not move the appliance when in use.
• Always use a wooden or plastic spatula to avoid damaging the
cooking plate.
• Do not use aluminium foil or other objects between the plate
and the food being cooked.
• Do not remove the grease collection tray while cooking. If the
grease collection tray becomes full when cooking: let the
appliance cool down before emptying.
• To preserve the non-stick properties of the coating, do not cook
food in aluminium foil.
• Never leave the appliance unattended when in use.
• Never run the appliance empty.

• Place the thermostat in the min. position before unplug.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water. Never immerse the
appliance or power supply cord in water.
• Check that the appliance has cooled down completely and
that it is unplugged before putting it away.
