#2 Air Conditioner Temperature is Not Cool Enough
1. Adjust the temperature setting.
If you feel the air conditioner is not cool enough, check your temperature setting and adjust it. For optimal cooling performance, it is also recommended that the room should be insulated with all doors and windows closed.
• To adjust the temperature, press the Temp button and press the + or - button until it is set to your desired temperature.
2. Clear any obstacles around the air conditioner.
If there are obstacles in front of the indoor unit or outdoor unit, the air conditioner may not produce sufficient air and can as a result affect cooling performance.
3. Make sure all doors and windows are closed.
If doors or windows are open, it can cause poor circulation or performance. Close all doors and windows.
4 . Check the mode and set temperature of the air conditioner.
If in Cool Mode, cooling occurs only when the set temperature is lower than the current temperature.
5. Check the space capacity of your air conditioner.
If the room size is bigger than the space capacity of the air conditioner, cooling performance will decrease. It is recommended to use an air conditioner that can accommodate the space its installed in.
6. Check and clean the air filter.
When the air filter has too much dust, your air conditioner is unable to draw in a sufficient amount of air. This may be the cause of the issue with the temperature. We recommend you to clean the filter every 2 weeks, or when the CF display code* appears on the indoor unit display.
7. Check the pipe length
Check if the pipe length between the units exceeds the maximum pipe length*. If so, the cooling performance can decrease.
8 . Request service.
