Setting the Functions (Standard Mode)
In Standard mode ( ), you can set all the camera functions.

Press the four-way controller () in
Capture mode.
The virtual mode dial appears.

Use the four-way controller () to
select Standard mode (
).

Press the OK button.

Set the functions you want to use.
Refer to “Setting the Shooting Functions” (p.36 to p.52) for
details of how to set the functions.

You can take pictures that are intentionally over-exposed or
under-exposed.

Select [EV Compensation] on the
[ Rec. Mode] menu.

Use the four-way controller () to
select the EV setting in the range
of –2.0 EV to +2.0 EV in 1/3 EV
steps.
To brighten, set positive +.
To darken, set negative
–.

Press the OK button.
The camera is ready to take the picture.
