Before Driving
Is Your Vehicle Ready to Drive?
Remember to take care of any problem you find or have your dealer
correct it before you drive your Honda MUV.

Side Nets
The wheels need to be lifted off the ground to correctly
check the tie-rod ends, so it cannot be done in the pre-
drive inspection. To have the tie-rod ends properly
inspected, see your dealer.
Be sure items in the cargo bed are within the ca
rgo limit
and are properly secured to prevent shifting (pages 57, 58).
Make sure both seat belts are in good condition and
operate properly. The seat belts must move smoothly
when pulled out, and retract on their own when released.
The latch plates should click securely into the buckles and
release when the release buttons are pushed firmly.
Make sure both side nets and their mounting hardware are
in
good condition and that they latch and tighten securely.
