Engine Oil & Filter
Add Engine Oil:

Remove the O-ring and sealing washer from the drain plug.

Install a new sealing washer onto the drain plug. Coat a new drain
plug O-ring with engine oil, and install it into the groove in the drain
plug.
25.
Reinstall the drain plug, and tighten it to the specified torque:
18 lbf·ft (25 N·m , 2.5 kgf·m)
26. Reinstall the maintenance lid by tightening the bolts to the specified
torque:
9 lbf·ft (12 N·m , 1.2 kgf·m)
27. Lower your Honda MUV safely.
28. Fill the crankcase with the recommended oil, approximately:
3.1 US qt (2.9)
29. Reinstall the oil fill cap and dipstick.
30. Reinstall the seat and rubber dust cover.
31. Start the engine and let it idle for 35 minutes.
32. Remove the seat and rubber dust cover.
33. Stop the engine and after 23 minutes, ch
eck the oil level. Make
sure the oil is between the upper and lower level marks on the
dipstick. If necessary, add more oil but do not overfill.
34. Reinstall the oil fill cap, dipstick and rubber dust cover.
35. Reinstall the seat.
36. Check that there are no oil leaks.
If a torque wrench is not used for installation, see your dealer as soon as
possible to verify proper assembly.
