With the switch in the OFF position, plug the power cord into an AC
120-V outlet.
Place desired attachment head on massager. Attachments easily twist on
and off. Turn the head counter-clockwise to remove. Place the head on
the stem and turn it clockwise until secure to add.
Apply the massager to the targeted area, using continual movement. A
circular motion is often most effective. See MASSAGE TECHNIQUES.
Begin at lowest speed setting. Gradually increase to desired massage
speed by rolling dial toward top of massager. Roll dial toward bottom of
massager to decrease speed.

Wahl 04290-2201 Questions and Answers

#1 What are the watts and volts on this?

120 volts it says 10 w but I don't know if that is the watts. All
know is it works great.

#2 Does it have the heat function?

No. But it’s a great product.

#3 How does this product compare with a Deep Tissue Massage
gun?

The GUN is not as controllable as this product, the thumping, if
not controlled properly could do more damage than good.

#4 Does this vibrate? If not, what does it actually do?

This is a vibrator with a long handle so that one can reach
various areas of the back. It is intended to simulate deep
tissue massage and comes with 4 attachments. The speed
of the vibration can be varied using a dial. I find that it
works very well for tight muscles. I use it in between my
therapeutics massage sessions with a massage therapist.
I've also lent this massager to friends who used it
successfully on tight back muscles. I think it is well worth
the cost.

#5 Can this be used as a scalp massager? anyone use it as a
scalp massager - if so what did you think?

I would not use it as a scalp massager. As the name says it
is for deep tissue and would be too powerful and possibly
painful if used on your scalp. The attachments are made of
hard plastic and I would think a massager with soft rubber
attachments would be a better choice.

#6 How many speed settings are there?

It adjusts from low to hi with a dial......like on the mouse of
computer. No actual speed settings.
