Massager Quickstart Guide

Quickstart Guide

With the switch in the OFF position, plug the power cord into an AC 120-V outlet.

Place desired attachment head on massager. Attachments easily twist on and off. Turn the head counter-clockwise to remove. Place the head on the stem and turn it clockwise until secure to add.

Begin at lowest speed setting. Gradually increase to desired massage speed by rolling dial toward top of massager. Roll dial toward bottom of massager to decrease speed.

Apply the massager to the targeted area, using continual movement. A circular motion is often most effective. See MASSAGE TECHNIQUES.

Wahl 4290 Questions and Answers

#1 Is this a percussion and vibrating massager or just a vibrating massager?
I feel this can be both as it does have the different attachments to help with those knots inside the muscles. You don't need much pressure to feel it at all.

#2 How does this product compare with a Deep Tissue Massage gun?
The GUN is not as controllable as this product, the thumping, if not controlled properly could do more damage than good.

#3 Has anyone found a high intensity massager? Rather than all these percussion massagers that do nothing for so many of us!
Percussion massagers CAN BE high intensity massagers so when you say, "all these massagers" ... which sounds like a general overall blanket judgement without stating which ones exactly compare then it's hard to say what might be right for you. So, the one that's right for you will definitely be the best one for you.

#4 Does this product interfere with a pacemaker?
I love this little Massager, but fortunately I do not have a heart condition. I would definitely ask your doctor before taking a chance. One can adjust the intensity, and I don't think it would cause a problem, but I am not a doctor. So, my advice is ask your doctor just to be safe.
