#1 Is there a 12v trigger?

There are two trigger outputs that can be programmed based upon active audio zone, input source or active HDMI monitor.

#2 Can you add Plex?

No but I install all my apps including PLEX on XBOX s, you get ATMOS, HDR etc played via the receiver.

#3 How hot does this unit get when operating?

Mine is in an open front cabinet mostly unstructured. It doesn't get hot just warm.
