AiFree vent™ insert
Benet: The AirFree™ vent insert keeps the
nipple full of milk during feeding, even while
the bottle is held horizontally. This supports
an upright feeding position for your baby
in order to reduce air ingestion. This helps
reduce common feeding issues including
gas and reux (GER).
Assembly: Place the AirFree™ vent insert in
the bottle before you assemble the screw
ring with nipple.
Warning: When you prepare formula, make
sure that all the formula is fully dissolved to
avoid blocking the AirFree™ vent insert.
Note: Always make sure the nipple is full
of milk by turning the bottle upside down
before feeding your baby.
Note: While feeding, make sure that the
AirFree™ vent insert points upwards, in line
with your baby‘s nose (see image).
Compatibility: The AirFree™ vent insert
only works with 4 oz/125 ml, 9 oz/260 ml
and 11 oz/330 ml Philips Avent Anti-colic
bottle, nipple and screw ring. The AirFree™
vent insert is not compatible with the
(I/II/III) variable ow nipple and the
Natural bottle range.
Note: When using an 11 oz/330 ml bottle,
the AirFree™ vent insert will keep the nipple
full of milk but it could be that you see
fewer air bubbles.
Philips Avent Anti-colic bottles can also be
used without the AirFree™ vent insert.
