Getting Ready

• Do not place this Kimchi Refrigerator in direct
sunlight or expose to the heat from stoves, room
heaters, or other appliance.
• Do not install this appliance in a humid, oily or
dusty location, in a location exposed to direct
sunlight and water (rain drops). Do not install this
appliance in a location where gas may leak.
- This may result in an electric shock or re.
• Never use gas pipes, telephone lines or other
potential lightening rods as ground.
- Improper use of the ground plug can result in
electric shock. If it is necessary to use an extension
cord, use only a 3-wire extension cord that has a
3-blade grounding plug and a 3-slot receptacle
that will accept the plug on the appliance. The
marked rating of the extension cord should be
AC115-120 V, 10 A, or more. If a grounding adapter
is used, make sure the receptacle box is fully
grounded.
• Do not plug several appliances into the same
power strip. The Kimchi Refrigerator should always
be plugged into its own individual electrical socket
which has a voltage rating that matches the rating
plate.
- This provides the best performance and also
prevents overloading of the house wiring circuits,
which could cause a re hazard from overheated
wires.
• Do not use a cord that shows cracks or abrasion
damage along its length or at either end.
• Do not bend the power cord excessively or place
heavy articles on it.
• Do not use electrical appliances inside the
food storage compartments of the appliance,
unless they are of the type recommended by the
manufacturer.
• Do not store explosive substance es such as
aerosol cans with a ammable propellant in this
appliance.
• Keep ventilation openings in the appliance
enclosure or mounting structure clear of
obstructions.
• This Kimchi Refrigerator must be
properly located and installed in
accordance with the manual before
you use it.
• Plug the power plug into the wall socket rmly. If
the wall socket is loose, do not insert the power
plug.

the cord hanging down.
