Cosmo F965 Questions and Answers

#1 Is this a self cleaning oven?

This unit does not have a self cleaning function.

#2 This says dual fuel. Is it available in only natural gas?

This unit is for Natural Gas, The dual fuel refers to Gas cooktop but with an electric oven.

#3 Does the unit have a way to anchor it down tot he ground to prevent tipping? Most modern ranges have a way to prevent tipping.

The unit comes with security chains at the back that can be screwed into a wall.

#4 How loud is the fan? Can you have a conversation next to it?

You know it’s blowing, but my dishwasher is louder.

#5 Can this be installed on a heat retardant plinth instead of its legs?

Not sure, but the legs do not seem to make the stove secure. Also, remember, that even though it is a gas stove, it has an electric oven -- which requires a 220 v line!

#6 Power off will function?

If the power is disconnected, then the oven will not function in any way and the cooktop will only function if the burners are lit manually using a lighter. The electric igniters will not work in the event of a power outage

#7 Can you remove the oven knobs (child safety concern)?

Yes, you are able to remove the knobs simply by pulling them off.
