• Page 6 - English - : Gettin started How to chan e the temperature Tap the up arrow to increase the target temperature Your heating will come on if the target temperature is above the actual temperature youll see when the heating is on Tap the down arrow to lower the target temperature
• Page 7 - English - : Select the mode you want by usin the up or down arrow and tappin the MenuConfirm icon to confirm selection Heatin How to chan e mode Tap any icon to wake up the thermostat Once the screen turns on press the MenuConfirm icon Schedule turns your heatin on and o when you want it to and can be more ener y e cient Manual makes sure your home maintains a constant temperature O leaves your heatin in Frost Protection so your heatin will only come on if your home drops below 7C Youll see on the screen to remind you that Frost Protection is enabled Boost increases your heatin for a set amount of time chosen Your thermostat has 4 heatin modes Schedule Manual Boost and O Here youll see the dierent modes Schedule Manual Boost and O if you have Heating amp Hot Water you will first be presented with a screen to Choose Function Heating Hot Water Use or to select the function and tap on MenuConfirm to select

• Page 9 - English - : Use the Up or Down icon to choose between Heating amp Hot Water function then tap MenuConfirm to select Hot Water Hot water Hot water features are not shown on combi boilers boilers without a separate hot water tank as they automatically heat water when its needed How to turn your hot water on or o Hot tip If you only want hot water at certain times of the day usin Schedule mode could be more ener y e cient Wake your thermostat by tapping any of the icons on the screen Once the screen turns on press the MenuConfirm icon Tap MenuConfirm to confirm Choose between On Schedule Boost or O usin the Up or Down icons

• Page 11 - English - : How to boost your heating or hot water for a short time On the Hive Thermostat Mini you can send a boost command throu h your Hive app ran in from 15 minutes ri ht up to 6 hours You can also boost directly from your Hive Mini device for a duration ranging from 15 minutes up to 6 hours Once the set boost duration has finished your thermostat will resume its previous settin of either manual set temperature schedule or o in frost protection mode You can find out more about our boost functionality in the app here httpscommunityhivehomecomsarticleHowdoIboostmyheatin or hotwaterusin theHiveapp
• Page 12 - English - : Hive Multizone If you are a Hive Multizone customer to chan e the zone name of each thermostat lo in to the Hive app or online dashboard and select Mana e Devices Zone name Multizone lets you control up to six existing plumbed heating zones in your home Each zone needs its own Hive thermostat and receiver
• Page 13 - English - : Troubleshootin If you need to identify which of your Hive thermostats belon s to which receiver follow these steps Turn the heatin o in every zone usin the app or thermostats When you look at the receivers the central heatin li ht should be switched o on each receiver Turn the heatin on in one zone only by usin the app or thermostat The central heatin li ht on one receiver will turn reen showin that this thermostat is paired to this receiver Repeat these steps to identify which receivers your other thermostats are paired with For more information on Hive Multizone please visit hivehomecomsupport
• Page 14 - English - : Troubleshootin How to chan e the batteries Press tab to open A red battery symbol means your batteries need to be replaced with four new AAA batteries Pull the front of the Thermostat away from the backplate Lift your thermostat o the hooks that hold it against the wall and turn it over to access the batteries Simply pop the batteries out and put the new ones in Rehook the top of your thermostat and then press the bottom until it clicks to secure it to the wall
