8.1 What to do if …
This section lists faults that can be solved simply by following the instructions
given. If another fault is displayed or the fault cannot be remedied, please call
Customer Services.
Please note down the error message and the serial number (FN) be-
fore calling Customer Services.
Malfunction warning indicated by acoustic signal
▪ In the event of a malfunction, an acoustic signal is emitted for 1minute.
▪ Malfunction warnings are indicated by an acoustic signal even if the acous-
tic signal is switched off in the 'User settings'.
▪ Detailed information on any current malfunction appears in the display.

A0 Foaming?
Possible cause Solution
▪ High-foaming detergent
was used.
▪ Spilt rinse agent.
▪ Washing-up liquid was
used.
▸ Wipe away spilt rinse agent with a cloth.
▸ Get rid of the foam with approximately 1dl
vinegar.
▸ Cancel the error message by pressing the
button.
▸ Select the programme.

Possible cause Solution
▪ Filter system is not inser-
ted.
▪ Filter system is not cor-
rectly locked in position.
▸ Check the filter system and then insert into
place. Turn the fine filter as far as it will go
in a clockwise direction.
