The surround back speakers and rear presence speakers do not produce sounds simultaneously. The unit automatically changes
the speakers to be used, depending on the input signal and CINEMA DSP HD³.

When installing the front/rear presence speakers on the ceiling above the listening position, or when using Dolby Enabled speakers
as the front/rear presence speakers, the front/rear presence speaker layout settings must be changed.
(
You can also connect up to 2 subwoofers (with built-in amplifier) to the unit. Two subwoofers connected to the unit output the
separate sounds, and so you can place them on the left/right or front/rear sides of the room. In this case, their layout settings must
be changed.
(
When using only one subwoofer, you can place it either in the left or right side.
