Warning messages from YPAO
If a warning message is displayed, resolve the problem by following table and perform YPAO again.
You can still apply the measurement results, however, we recommend you resolve the problem and perform
YPAO again in order to use the unit with the optimal speaker settings.

Warning message Remedy
WARNING 1
A speaker cable may be connected
with the reverse polarity (+/-).
Use the cursor keys to select “Measurement result” and press ENTER, and then
select “Wiring” in “Measurement result”. Check the cable connections (+/-) of
the speaker identified by “Reverse”.
If the speaker is connected incorrectly:
Turn off the unit, reconnect the speaker cable.
If the speaker is connected correctly:
Depending on the type of speakers or room environment, this message may
appear even if the speakers are connected correctly. In this case, you can ignore
the message.
WARNING 2
A speaker is placed more than 24
m (80 ft) from the listening
position.
Use the cursor keys to select “Measurement result” and press ENTER, and then
select “Distance” in “Measurement result”. Check the speaker identified by
“>24.00m (>80.0ft)”. Exit YPAO, turn off the unit, and place the problem speaker
within 24 m (80 ft) of the listening position.
WARNING 3
There are significant volume
differences between the speakers.
Check the usage environment and cable connections (+/-) of each speaker, and
the volume of the subwoofer. If there is any problem, exit YPAO, turn off the
unit, and then reconnect speaker cable or correct the speaker positions. We
recommend using the same speakers or speakers with specifications that are as
similar as possible.
NOTE
Correct the cable connection or position of the speaker after turning off the unit.
