Using the appliance

1 Taketheentirecordfromthecordstoragecompartmentandputthepluginthewall

socket(Fig.6).

2 Switchonthefryer(Fig.7).

, Thetemperaturelightgoeson(Fig.8).

3 Setthetemperaturecontroltotherequiredtemperature(seethepackageofthefoodtobe

friedorthefoodtableattheendofthisbooklet).

4 Waituntilthetemperaturelightgoesout(thistakes10to15minutes).

5 Foldoutthehandleofthefryingbasket(Fig.9).

6 Openthelid(Fig.2).

7 Removethebasketfromthefryerandputthefoodtobefriedinthebasket(Fig.10).

Donotfryverylargequantitiesatonetime.Donotexceedthequantitiesmentionedinthefood

tableattheendofthisbooklet(-indicatestherecommendedquantity).

8 Putthebasketonthebracket,butdonotloweritintotheoilorfatyet(Fig.11).

9 Closethelid.

10 Pressthebuttononthebaskethandleandfoldthehandleagainstthefryer.Thebasketis

automaticallyloweredintotheoilorfat.(Fig.12)

During frying, the temperature light comes on and goes out from time to time to indicate that the

heating element is switched on and off to maintain the correct temperature.

Timer

Note: You can also use the timer for other purposes, e.g. as a regular cooking timer.

Setting the timer

1 Pressthetimerbuttontosetthefryingtimeinminutes.(Fig.13)

, Afewsecondsafteryouhavesetthefryingtime,thetimerstartstocountdown.

, Whilethetimeriscountingdown,theremainingfryingtimeashesonthedisplay.Thelast

minuteisdisplayedinseconds.

, Whenthepresettimehaselapsedyouhearanaudiblesignal.After10secondstheaudible

signalisrepeated.Pressthetimerbuttontostoptheaudiblesignal.

Note: You can erase the timer setting by pressing the timer button for 2 seconds (at the moment the

timer ashes) until ‘00’ appears.

After frying

1 Foldoutthehandleofthebasket(Fig.9).

2 Openthelid(Fig.2).

Bewareofthehotsteam.

3 Removethebasketfromthefryerandshakeoffexcessoilorfat.

4 Putthefriedfoodinabowlorcolanderlinedwithgrease-absorbingpaper,e.g.kitchenpaper.

5 Enjoythefriedfood.

If you want to fry another batch, wait until the temperature light goes out.
