#1 How to capture a photo from a video clip using the
PlayMemories Home Software?

1. In the PlayMemories Home menu bar, under Edit, select
Edit/Convert.
2. Select Save Frame on the Edit/Convert Videos menu.
3. Click the video you want to edit, drag and drop it into the
area on the right, and then click Next.
4. In the Save Frame window, move the slider to select the
frame you want to capture and click Save.
5. In the Picture Saved window, click OK.

#2 How to uninstall the PlayMemories Home software?

To uninstall the PlayMemories Home™ software, follow the
steps below.
Notes:
- This article pertains to models that are compatible with
the PlayMemories Home software.
- To know whether your camera is compatible with
PlayMemories Home software, check the
specifications or supplied operations guide. Manuals are
posted on your model support page.
- Uninstalling the PlayMemories Home software will not
delete the images saved on the computer.
- End all running applications before uninstalling the
PlayMemories Home software.
- Uninstalling will not work if the PlayMemories Home
software and other related apps are running.

#3 How to edit or convert videos using PlayMemories Home?

With PlayMemories Home™ software, you can perform
various editing functions for Windows® or Mac® operating
systems such as, trimming or combining movie files and
converting movies into MP4 files. You can also add
subtitles or BGM (background music) to a recorded movie
to create an original MP4 movie.


#4 What is PlayMemories Home?

The PlayMemories Home™ software is a software suite
that enables you to import photos and videos to a
computer, and then browse and manage them.
PlayMemories Home is the replacement software for the
Picture Motion Browser (PMB) software.
