Setting the language and the clock
When you turn the camera on for the first time or after you initialize the
functions, the language, date and time setting screen will appear.
1 Set the ON/OFF (Power) switch to
ON to turn on the camera.
A screen will appear that lets you set the
language to be used on the monitor.
• To turn the camera off, set the ON/
OFF (Power) switch to OFF.
2 Select a desired language, then
press z on the control wheel.
The screen to set the date and time
appears.
3 Check that [Enter] is selected on the screen, then press z.
4 Select a desired geographic location, and then press z.
5 Press v/V on the control wheel, or select a setting item by
turning the control wheel, then press z.
6 Press v/V/b/B, or select a desired setting by turning the
control wheel, then press z.
7 Repeat steps 5 and 6 to set other items, then select [Enter] and
press z on the control wheel.
