Engine Oil & Filter

Pour the drained oil into a suitable container and dispose of it in
an approved manner (page 196
).
NOTICE
Improper disposal of drained fluids is harmful to the environment.
Add Engine Oil:

Install the drain bolts with new sealing washers and tighten to
the specified torque:
Oil tank drain bolt:
18 lbf·ft (25 N·m , 2.5 kgf·m)
Crankcase drain bolt:
18 lbf·ft (25 N·m , 2.5 kgf·m)
12.
Install the engine guard and the mounting bolts. Tighten the
mounting bolts.
13.
Fill the oil tank with the recommended grade oil approximately:
5.0 US qt (4.7 ℓ)
14.
Reinstall the engine oil fill cap.
15.
Check the oil level (page 124).
16.
Check that there are no oil leaks.
If a torque wrench is not used for installation, see your dealer as
soon as possible to verify proper assembly.
