Load the iPod/iPhone/iPad
• Dock your iPod/iPhone/iPad.
To remove the iPod/iPhone/iPad
• Pull the iPod/iPhone/iPad out of the dock.
Listen to the iPod/iPhone/iPad
1 Make sure that the iPod/iPhone/iPad has
been loaded correctly.
2 Press repeatedly to select the iPod/
iPhone/iPad dock source.
3 Press .
» The connected iPod/iPhone/iPad starts
to play.
• To pause/resume play, press .
• To skip to a track, press
the left and right keys.
• To search during play, press and
hold the left/right keys, then
release to resume normal play.
• To navigate through the menu, press
MENU, then press the up/down keysto
select, and press OKtoconrm.
Charge the iPod/iPhone/iPad
The docked iPod/iPhone/iPad begins to charge
as soon as the unit is connected to AC power.
Control play
You can select different play options from
either your iTunes host device or DS9100W.
Note
The operations below are based on the supplied
remote control of DS9100W.
Make sure that you have successfully streamed audio
from your iTunes music library to DS9100W.
• To start or pause play in AirPlay or dock
mode, press .
• To skip to the previous or next track in
AirPlay or dock mode, press left/right keys.
• To adjust volume, press VOL +/-
repeatedly.
• To mute or restore volume, press .
• To switch to the MP3 link audio source (if
connected), press .
• To switch between the AirPlay audio
source and the iPod/iPhone/iPad dock
source, press .
• To access the iPod/iPhone/iPad menu in
dock mode, press MENU.
• To navigate through the iPod/iPhone/iPad
menu in dock mode, press the up/down
keys.
• Toconrmaselectionindockmode,press
OK.
Tip
If you are streaming music from a PC/Mac, to control
music play from DS9100W, launch iTunes and tick
Allow iTunes audio control from remote speakers
in Edit (for Windows) or iTunes (for Mac) ->
Preferences... -> Devices.
