Notifications and Actions
Configure action center for quick and easy access to your
most important notifications and settings.
For more information, refer to “Notifications and Quick
Actions” on page 20
.
1. From the Home screen, tap Sett
ings. Under the
system menu, tap
notifications + actions
.
2. Tap one of the
four
Choose your quick actions
icons and
then tap a setting.
3. Tap the
Show notifications in action center when my
phone is locked
check box to be able to view the action
center screen from the Lock screen.
To access and configure the types of notifications that
display in action center:
1. Tap
Messaging
,
Phone
, or Store to indicate which
notifications to display in action center.
2. To show notifications for the selected type in action
center, touch and slide the
Show in action center
slider
to the right.
3. Tap the
Notification sound
field and tap a sound type.
4. Tap the
Vibrate
check box and the phone will vibrate for
this type of notification, if the ringtones + sounds
settings allow it.
Wi-Fi
1. From the Home screen, tap Settings. Under the
system menu, tap Wi-Fi.
2. Touch and slide the Wi-Fi networking
slider to the
right to turn Wi-Fi On.
