CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Remove dust or dirt on the lens surface using a soft or oild free brush. Remove smudges or finderprints by gently rubbing with a soft or quality oil-free tissue. You may use photographic type lens cleaner or isopropyl alcohol to wipe the lens. Always apply the fluid to the cleaning cloth (DO NOT pour on the lens).

GETTING STARTED

Remove the battery cover. Insert a CR2 3V lithium battery into the compartment with the negative end facing in. TecTecTec! Laser is constructed with an adjustable eyepiece that allows you to focus the image. To focus your rangefinder, simply turn the eyepiece to the left or the right until the object is in focus.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Power On
2. Choose the targeting mode
3. Align the reticle with the target
4. Press the power button
5. View the distance

CHANGING THE UNIT OF MEASUREMENT

To change the unit of measurement, hold down the MODE button for 3 seconds to alternate from METER to YARD and vice versa.

GETTING STARTED

The selective targeting modes allow you to adjust the performance parameters of the lasrer rangefinder to suit in your specific situation and environment. To move from one mode to another, press the MODE button. You may choose from 3 different targeting modes:

• NORMAL: Align the reticle with the target and press the POWER button to display the distance.
• SCAN: Press the power button to start the scan mode. Scan from object to object for continuous distance measurement.
• PIN: Also know as “closest distance object priority function” gives you the distance to the closest object when multiple objects are detected. When measuring, be sure to have no other object between you and your target. Press the power button and slowly aim to the right and left of the target until the distance is displayed.

TROUBLESHOOTING

1. NO DISPLAY
   • Reinsert the battery
   • Be sure the polarity (+/-) of the bettery is correct
   • Make sure the battery is not drained
   • Press the power buttom firmly
2. CAN NOT MEASURE
   • Be sure the device is powered on
   • Check if anything is blocking the either of the lenses
   • Make sure you are not trying to measure beyong the maximum measuring distance
   • The target should not be closer than 15 meters.
