    What is the lightning bolt signal mean.

    The lightning bolt indicates that the laser is firing normally. If you see the lightning bolt followed by brackets or dashes this shows that the rangefinder cannot read the laser being bounced back from the object you are aiming at.

    This could be for a few reasons:

    • The lens that reads the laser could be blocked or dirty. (Please try cleaning it with a soft cloth made for use with eyeglasses.)
    • Light conditions may not be optimal, for instance at dusk or dawn or if there is a great deal of direct sunlight shining into the rangefinder as you try to take a reading.
    • Finally, the surface of either the laser output or laser receiving lenses may have become skewed so that taking an accurate reading is impossible.

    Will not measure anything over 100 yards. Battery fine and nothing blocking the lens

    Distances measured are incorrect Used to measure white to to red blocks measurement was incorrect by 3/4 Yards
