Play from an external audio
device

Ensure that the external audio device is
properly connected to MCi298.
2 On MCi298, select the [MP3 link] mode.
On Home screen, tap [MP3 link].
3 On the external audio device, start music
play.
For the music play, you can use
the sound settings on MCi298 (see
‘Sound settings’ on page 35).

MCi298 allows you to play an external audio
device (e.g. a portable media player, another
audio system) through the speakers of MCi298.
Connect external audio
devices
You can listen to an external audio device
through the speakers on MCi298. To do so, do
the following connections, and then, select the
[MP3 link] mode on MCi298.
To play from a portable media player with
3.5mm headphone jack
Connect a headphone-to-headphone cable (not
supplied) to:
the MP3-LINK socket on this unit,
and
the 3.5mm headphone jack on the
portable media player.
