S Beam
S Beam uses your phone’s NFC (Near Field Communication)
feature to send, or “beam”, content to other NFC by holding
the devices close together.
S Beam is designed to share larger files, such as Videos, HD
pictures, etc. You can beam images and videos from Gallery,
music files from Music Player, and more.
Note: NFC must be turned on to use S Beam.
1. From a Home screen, touch
Apps Settings
More settings.
2. Touch ON/OFF button to turn NFC ON

3. Touch ON/OFF button to turn S Beam ON
.
4. Use the sharing options from your favorite apps to
select content to share via S Beam.
Nearby Devices
Share files with nearby devices using DLNA (Digital Living
Network Alliance) standards, over Wi-Fi.
To share with nearby devices, you must connect to a
Wi-Fi network. The devices you wish to share files with must
also be connected to the same Wi-Fi network and must
support DLNA.
Important! Use care when enabling file sharing for nearby
devices. When enabled, other devices can access
data on your phone.
Turning File Sharing On or Off
1. From a Home screen, touch Apps Settings
More settings Nearby devices.
2. Touch ON/OFF button to turn Nearby Devices
ON
or OFF to enable or disable file
sharing.
