Troubleshooting
Sprite is unable to connect to my home Wi-Fi even if the
correct password is entered.
It is possible that your Wi-Fi network is running on an old router which is
using the legacy encryption mode: WEP. Currently Sprite is only compatible
with Wi-Fi networks secured by WPA. The WEP encryption is weak which
can be broken easily. You want to be aware of this and turn directly to WPA,
a stronger encryption mode.It is also possible that your router is an old one
and runs on Wireless-B (11Mbps). Sprite only supports the newer standards,
namely Wireless-N, Wireless-G and Wireless-AC.
During the Wi-Fi setup, after I input the password, Sprite
starts to blink quickly.
That means Sprite has connected to your router but it has no access to the
internet. It will disconnect from your router and change back to its host mode
in a few seconds. Please check your router and make sure it is connected to
the internet.
During the Wi-Fi setup, my phone cannot find the Wi-Fi
network "Netro_IRC_XXX" hosted by Sprite.
Please press the RST button, make sure Sprite is in host mode and the LED
is blinking slowly (once per second).
