NOTE: These instructions assume the mounting surface is of
wood frame and standard sheet rock construction. If you wish
to mount the speaker to another type of material or construc-
tion, you should consult a bonded contractor.
NOTE: Before beginning, study the installation instructions.
1 Please study figure 1 to determine the proper brackets to
use for your desired installation—the flat mount bracket,
or the angle bracket. The angle bracket can be flipped to
accommodate either an up or down angled installation.
2 Please study figure 2 to determine where to install the
bracket on your speaker. The flat bracket mounts to
middles set of holes. Angle bracket (angle down) mounts
to lower set of holes. Angle bracket (angle up) mounts to
upper set of holes.
3 As shown in figure 2, use a 5mm Allen tool and install two
1/4-20 x 1/2” connector bolts (per bracket) to attach to
the speaker.
4 As shown in figure 2, attach an adhesive foam pad to the
bottom of each bracket (in the location where the bracket
will contact the wall).
5 Study figure 3 to determine the location where your wall
bracket should be installed.
Please note: if mounting the speaker near a ceiling and
angling it down, it is essential to have at least 8 inches of
clearance above the top most line you mark in the next
step. This clearance is necessary when placing the speaker
on the bracket.
6 Mark a line at the wall bracket’s top screw location:
Figure 3 shows where the wall bracket’s top screw slot
should be in relation to the final speaker installation.
Using a pencil and a level, mark a line approximately
24-inches wide.
7 Mark a line at the wall bracket’s bottom screw loca-
tion: Mark a parallel line 1-3/8 inches beneath to top
screw line.
8 Mark the center of the speaker: Use a pencil to mark
a point along the line where the center of the speaker
should be. This point should also be the approximate cen-
ter location of the wall bracket.
