Problem Cause Solution
The rice is cooked
too hard.
Not enough water
was used for cooking
rice.
Add slightly more water to the level indicated on
the cale inside the inner pot that corresponds to
the number of cups of rice used. Make sure the
water does not exceed the next level on the scale
as this may cause overow during cooking.
