#1 Can you make Turkish coffee

We grind our coffee Turkish, and the grinds don't slip through the filter.

#2 Can you brew the coffee directly into your coffee cup?

I have no information directly from the company but if your coffee mug has a wide enough opening and is heat resistant for sitting on the warmer, I see no reason why not. I would try it.

#3 Can I put the coffee pot in the dishwasher?

Its rather heavy for a dishwasher, I honestly never have. I didn't read the directions about whether you could or not. It is very easy to clean though.

#4 Is the clock back lit to light up for easy reading?

Yes the clock is back lit. You can read it in a dark room. The numbers are small though so you probably can't see them from across the room..

#5 Does the clock have an internal battery, staying on during a power outage?

No, it does not. We lost power during the hurricane and it went out.

#6 Does this coffee pot have an auto off function?

It actually doesn't have a warmer under the pot. It brews the coffee into the thermal pot and shuts off. It claims to keep the coffee warm for 4 hours. I can't vouch for the full 4 hours yet but it's good for at least two.

#7 Does the filter holder have an overflow channel in the back of it?

Yes. If the filter were to overflow it would flow back into the water reservoir.

#8 Is the heating element aluminum?

You mean the element that warms the coffee after brewing? There isnt't one. The thermal carafe is supposed to keep the coffee warm.

#9 Can you completely close the carafe?

Yes you can close the carafe completely it has a cover.

#10 What is the depth of this unit?

I sent it back so I can guess maybe 8-9 inches front to back. It’s pretty tall too. Bigger than any previous coffee makers I’ve had.
