#1 Used twice, my iq3500, it is putting out power but voltage display shows 0. also will now stall out if put in "economy mode" any ideas why?

Not sure about voltage display but as far as the stalling out, after I used mine about 10 times or so, I was having the same trouble. I noticed a piece of wadded up steel wool in the hole of the muffler outlet, probably for emissions or the keep bees out. I pulled it out with a pair of needle nosed pliers and then it ran perfect again. The steel wool was all built up with black exhaust carbon. Good luck. Hope this helps.

#2 What type of oil for the IQ3500?

Above 40°F, use SAE 30. Below 40°F and down to 10°F, use 10W–30. Below 10°F, use synthetic 5W–30. Oil should be changed after the first 30 hours of operation and every 100 hours of run time thereafter.
Generac supplied the first oil fill up.

#3 Can I use this generator inside my ice cream truck for my freezer while driving down streets?

Since each application is unique, we are unable to properly size a unit remotely. We do have a sizing calculator online that can help you get an idea on what generator may be needed, but we strongly recommend working with a dealer to ensure the proper generator is picked.

#4 Does it need to be ground wired?

If you are plugging a device or appliance directly into the generator, you do not need to ground the generator. If you are hooking the generator up to a home with a manual transfer switch, we recommend grounding the generator using an earth-driven ground rod.
